Paternity
DNAPrint® genomics, Inc. provides an affordable, confidential and accurate screening test service for paternity. Our paternity test is processed on ABI 3700 and 3100 equipment, state of the art analyzers that measure the Short Tandem Repeat (STR) units.   Though these markers carry little ancestry information, they have been standardized over the past decade to serve as “DNA bar-codes” for human identification and first generation relationships. The test measures 16 loci (markers) and the 10 to 15 alleles that are associated with each loci and the combination of these alleles are like a fingerprint in that they are unique to each individual.
